The Valentine’s Tea and Travel Event took place on February 12^th, 2009, at the Varsity Acres Community Center 4303 Varsity Drive N.W.  There were 86 people registered at this event.

Our speaker was Fran Jamison, a retired teacher, who gave a scintillating talk and video on her trip to Antarctica, in January 2008.  Everyone seemed enthusiastic and enjoyed the presentation.
