HEART HEALTH FOR WOMEN
- Cardio Vascular Disease (CVD) is the leading cause of death of
women in Canada, yet few of us are aware of the risks.
Lynette Pittman
of the Women's Heart Initiative at Lindsay Park Center will
discuss how CVD is largely preventable through on 'awareness'
and learning how to live 'heart healthy'.
A TASTE OF SALSA
- 'So you think you can dance', and you want a little more? Join
Marcos Ravelo,
a master of Latin dances, from the Havana Cuban Dance Studio for
a demonstration, and a chance to try a few steps. Moving to
a Latin beat will leave you breathless and wanting more.
GET FIT FOR GOLF
- Bring your putter for an early lesson, and get
ready for the season ahead.
Jamie Driscoll, recognized as
one of Alberta's best Teaching Pros, is back to give you a head
start on putting, golf fitness and strategy.
YOGA
- Desiree Evancio
specializes in Svaroopa Yoga and is delighted to be able to
offer an introductory session to you. Dress for the occasion,
and bring a towel or blanket. Be prepared to enjoy yourself and
be thoroughly refreshed.

will speak about all aspects of
preventative tree care, including pruning, watering, mulching

Julie Van Rosendaal
