		I'm pleased to announce that at the January meeting the CRTA Executive approved a new affinity partnership with Cruise Plus of Nanaimo, BC. CruisePlus is a well established and fully licensed and insured travel agency.
		They have booked over 30,000 cruise passengers and can book members on all Cruise Lines that any other travel agent can access. CruisePlus can competitively book all types of travel, but our discount program only applies to cruises booked with them. This partnership entitles CRTA members and their friends to a discount of 5% - 6% on most cruises booked through CruisePlus. (The exception to the discount is any cruise that CruisePlus has already discounted and posted in their advertising. Also there would be no discount on relevant fees and taxes.) On January 29th at our "Travel Day" we had the opportunity to meet Shelley Good, CEO of CruisePlus. and have her introduce the her agency to those in attendance. We were impressed by here presentation, and the personal interest her staff take in their clients. Their mission to match a Cruise to your interests, advising you as to best times, locations and itineraries. CRTA members will be immediately referred to a senior staff member, where full travel counseling and services will be available. They will be able to facilitate not only your Cruise, but Air Travel, Hotels, and pre and post Cruise activities. The partnership allows CRTA members to extend the discount to your friends and family who travel with them. They just have to state they are part of CRTA.
