CALGARY 2011-2012 SENIORS OPEN CALGARY PHILHARMONIC REHEARSALS

CRTA is once again providing the opportunity for retired teachers and their friends, family, neighbours to book and attend the CPO open rehearsals, as they will only book groups of 10 or more. The only requirement is that you must be 55 or over to participate.  Any senior is able to attend with a group.

  GUIDELINES

·         The cost is $10.00 per person and is payable in cash at the door.  CPO is not set up to take debit or Visa for the rehearsals.

·         To book, please send an email the week prior to the rehearsal as outlined, to the email address given, stating how many are coming with you.  There is no limit.  If you and 5 friends are going please send an email stating “Please reserve 6 seats for me.  We do not need the names of those coming with you. The numbers will be tabulated and phoned in to CPO so that they know how many ushers to have there.  You will not receive any return email. 

·         All rehearsals begin at 10:00 a.m. with some scheduled for Thursday and some for Friday.  Rehearsals end at 12:00 or sometimes a little later with a short break in between.

·         Please arrive about 15 minutes before so you can be seated before the rehearsal begins.

·         There is nothing open at the Jack Singer, so if you wish to bring a small snack it can be eaten during the break in the foyer.

·         You must book for each rehearsal separately during the times indicated as we do not have the resources to enable you to book for the whole season. 

·         Remember this is a rehearsal and parts of pieces may be played more than once until the conductor is satisfied.  It is a great opportunity to hear the CPO at this price.  Come and enjoy.

·         We prefer email but for those not able to access a computer, please call 403-251-7163 and leave a message indicating how many seats you wish to reserve.  You will not receive a confirmation call.
